18 years ago, I was already exposed to charity work but I never envisioned myself to be actively helping non-profit organizations as I get older. During those times, I enjoyed volunteering but little by little, I got busy with my own personal life and lost the time for it.
Then 5 years ago, I met my mentor. I don't know how we got into the conversation but I told him that I miss doing charity work. Then he told me to make time for things that I love, life is short. After that, I realized I was making excuses but in reality, I had the time. I just did not put much effort to adjust my schedule and really make time for it. Slowly, I started doing volunteer work again and it made me happy.
My company started doing Google Ads in 2008 but we did all kinds of ads and a few years ago, we decided to specialize in non-profit organizations because that is where my heart is.
Besides helping nonprofits with their mission and getting more donors, I also actively volunteer and help some of these organizations.
Like what they say, why not hit two birds with one stone. Doing what I love, which is running ads for my clients and also running them specifically for non profits.
